I use a variety of materials in making my sculptures but they can be separated into two categories: Cement and Cosclay.
The concrete sculptures are a newer formula which resembles the ingredients of papermache. The weaker ingredients however, have been removed and replaced with industrial grade materials such as concrete. The end result is a product that is durable but also hollow, drastically reducing the weight of heavier, classically made solid structures. Finished with the proper varnish, they remain water resistant, able to be displayed outside in certain conditions.
Cosclay is a polymer clay formulated specifically for sculptors, as stated on their website:
"Cosclay® is a specialized, hybrid, plastic/rubber polymer clay that will retain flexibility after curing. Unlike other polymer clays, Cosclay's unique flexibility imparts a durable and resilient quality that is suitable for endless applications."
Cosclay makes sculptures flexible, able to bend while maintaining precise detailing. This makes it perfect for shipping without the worry of broken pieces.
I'm very exited about this material and can't wait for my next project with it.

As my knowledge and experience grows through the years, I incorporate more of the materials that I've come to be familiar with, creating sculptures with a lot of character. From the concrete elf cat bust which uses EVA foam for armor, to the Taylor Swift model that has miniature, fully printed books, I'm ready to take on your interesting and complicated projects.
