Second Iteration
They stand 72in tall and weigh 20lbs. With varnish they are water and UV resistant. These giraffes have become a favorite of so many people that I assembled a few to bring with me to the local fair.
First Iteration
This sculpture is what started my large animal sculpture builds. I had seen the pattern and papermache formula on ultimatepapermache.com and knew I had to make something. My mother had mentioned how she had seen things like this selling in Florida so I set off on a Mother's Day gift. Suffice to say, she was pleased.
